Time change in Italy: staying in sync, wherever we work
On 25 October 2026, Italy returned to standard time, setting the clocks back one hour. Our time reference is now Central European Time, CET — UTC+1.
This is a small update we would like to share with our international customers and partners to make coordinating activities easier.
What changes for those working with us from abroad?
Not all countries observe seasonal clock changes, and those that do may change their clocks on different dates.
As a result, the time difference with Italy may stay the same, increase or decrease during certain periods of the year. Even between two companies used to working together, a meeting scheduled at the same local time may therefore no longer correspond to the same moment for both.
Before a call or meeting, checking the time in each city helps avoid misunderstandings and unnecessary waiting.
A shared time reference for smoother collaboration
A few simple steps can help coordinate international communication:
Specify the time zone when proposing a meeting.
Include both local times in the meeting confirmation.
Use calendar invitations with the correct time zone, so that each participant sees the meeting in their own local time.
Double-check the time difference around seasonal clock changes, without assuming it always stays the same.
Customer care also means thoughtful coordination
At Tecnonext, discussions with customers and partners are part of our daily work: from assessing an application and selecting materials to specifying a standard or custom-designed sealing solution.
Clear communication and consideration for each other’s local times make this dialogue easier and help organise activities more precisely.
